Job Description
Program Coordinator at Powerhouse
Join the Powerhouse team as a Program Coordinator, supporting the smooth delivery of programs, festivals and events across all Powerhouse sites. In this exciting role, you will work closely with Program Curatorial and Strategic Projects teams to provide hands-on project support, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
You will support on-site program delivery for diverse audiences, coordinate key project activities such as advisory groups and assessment panels, and manage logistics including meetings, travel, accommodation and stakeholder communications. We want to hear from you if you are detail-oriented, organised and have a proactive mindset.
About Powerhouse
Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.
