Project Manager - Service

Powell Career Site is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Service to manage projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance in Switchgear, E-house Manufacturing and field servicing. This role demands strong project management skills, customer communication, and a proactive approach to change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple projects from start to finish.
• Plan, schedule and direct project activities including design, procurement, manufacturing, and testing.
• Ensure projects meet contractual objectives in schedule, cost, and scope.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the organization.
• Lead risk management, change control processes, and stakeholder communications.

Essential Functions

Includes proposal development consultation, project kick off participation, documentation management, vendor coordination, and financial updates including invoicing and payment follow-ups.

• Excellent communication and customer relationship management.
• Strong technical and organizational decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software like Primavera and MS Project.

Qualifications & Working Conditions

Bachelor Degree in business, engineering or related field, with at least three years of project management experience preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and ready for occasional travel.
