About the Role

The Solutions Engineering team at Posit partners closely with customers—especially their IT and SysAdmin groups—to ensure they get the most value from our professional products. As a Project Manager, you will drive customer engagements by providing structure, clarity, and coordination across a portfolio of complex IT projects.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership & Execution:

  • Manage a portfolio of 15-20 enterprise IT projects.
  • Drive end-to-end project planning and execution with documented scope, milestones, and roles.
  • Monitor and adjust project scope and timelines to mitigate risks.
  • Resolve risks by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure contractual compliance throughout project delivery.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project communications.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings for engagement and accountability.
  • Align Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Leadership for cohesive outcomes.
  • Support customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Process & Documentation:

  • Maintain clear project documentation using tools like Salesforce and Jira.
  • Share best practices to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Create repeatable processes and project templates.
  • Improve internal collaboration by clarifying roles and responsibilities.
