Job Description

This role is exclusively open to employees of Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. The EDRMS Product Owner is a senior member of the Digital Service within the Electronic Patient Record function. The post supports the five-year digital strategy and the rollout of OneEPR (HIOW Acute Electronic Patient Record) by managing IT products related to patient engagement, such as appointment bookings, personal healthcare records, and video consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Product management and backlog oversight for patient facing IT products.
• Stakeholder and supplier engagement within an Agile framework.
• Representation of user needs in sprint planning and delivery.
• Maintenance of product documentation including release notes and change management.
• Coordination of software development, testing, release, and early life support.
• Participation in IT project steering committees and governance bodies.

Experience & Qualifications

Candidates should have significant experience in Digital & IT management, change implementation in complex settings, and working in senior management roles. Required qualifications include a degree in computing or a related field, CSPO Certification, ITIL Foundation, and other relevant certifications.
