At Portfolio, we are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Claims Adjuster. This role is for professionals with backgrounds in automotive technology, mechanical repairs, service advising, or parts specialization. You will be a key part of our claims process, ensuring a smooth customer experience while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Compensation & Work Schedule

Starting hourly rate: $22.00 - $25.00 with overtime available. Training schedule is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST with proposed work schedules following training, plus a hybrid work arrangement where initially you must report to the Farmers Branch office every day for the first two weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of claims calls and inquiries.
  • Open and adjudicate claims accurately and timely.
  • Review and verify all claim documents for compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow contractual guidelines.
  • Support quality control, audits, and team cross-training initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in automotive systems and repairs. You should have:

  • 5+ years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years of call center experience.
  • 2+ years in automotive repairs.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and specialized software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
