Job Overview

PolyAI automates customer service through lifelike voice assistants. Our technology allows businesses to deliver outstanding customer service that rivals human agents. We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of our no-code agent studio platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and implementation of full stack features.
  • Guide architectural decisions for multi-tenant infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers, leads, and product managers.
  • Mentor and support team members.
  • Ensure code quality, testing practices, and release processes.
  • Drive improvements in developer experience, observability, and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (React preferred).
  • Strong understanding of databases, query optimisation, and schema design.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and maintenance.
  • Solid grasp of system design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience leading technical projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tooling.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with Golang or other backend languages.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Interest in building low-code or no-code platforms.
