About the job
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients & helping them with installation, upgradation and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
Your contribution in PB’s journey
- To support daily technical support activities for desktop, data, and server management
- To set up and test desktop computer peripherals
- To perform the system changes adhered to organizational policies
- Conduct remote desktop troubleshoot to end-users along with documentation ticket maintenance
- Maintain technical documentation in association with other functional departments
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Configure, install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and machines
Your knowledge & expertise that we need
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary
