Job Overview

Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer at Point72 is responsible for leading the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions that enhance technology infrastructure operations. What You’ll Do

  • Lead design and implementation of automation solutions.
  • Architect scalable infrastructure using AWS cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain automation using object-oriented programming.
  • Utilize Linux systems for effective script automation.
  • Implement configuration automation with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

What’s Required

  • 10+ years of professional experience and a relevant degree.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (Rust, Java, Python).
  • Expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, and IAM.
  • Experience with real-time messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Deep understanding of Linux systems and automation.
  • Familiarity with networking, configuration automation tools, and database integrations.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and DataDog.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and execution skills.
