About the role
Point is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and scale our direct-to-consumer direct mail (DM) prescreen program, our largest and most impactful acquisition channel. You’ll manage a significant portion of marketing spend, develop advanced targeting strategies, oversee creative production and agency partners, and use data-driven insights to drive measurable results. This role requires close collaboration across teams (data science, analytics, creative direct mail & project management) in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment. Experience in consumer lending or financial services is strongly preferred. You’ll work with the Head of Growth Marketing to design and refine strategies that accelerate customer acquisition and optimize the broader multi-channel marketing portfolio. Deep breadth of experience in project management and across teams.
Your responsibilities
- Direct Mail Strategy & Execution: Own and scale Point’s highest volume marketing channel: the direct-to-consumer direct mail prescreen program. Explore and test opportunities such as triggers, 3rd-party list buys, ITAs, etc., to scale volume efficiently.
- Performance Analytics: Independently analyze campaign performance across direct mail and digital channels to uncover insights, measure ROI, and recommend optimizations. Partner with Marketing Analytics and Data Science to validate prescreen criteria, audience scoring models, and forecasting. Analyze and optimize campaign performance to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Creative Development & Testing: Author creative briefs and lead cross-functional collaboration to develop, iterate, and test new creative concepts across mail and digital channels. Partner with creative/content teams and external agencies to ensure messaging accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agency Management: Coordinate with Data Science, Creative/Content, and Marketing Analytics teams to ensure alignment across targeting, creative, and performance measurement. Manage relationships with multiple agencies and vendor partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality, timely, and performance-oriented work.
- Experimentation: Run experiments on new creative, targeting strategies, and optimization of the mail decision to meet business growth goals while managing risk.
- Project & Budget Management: Oversee complex, multi-workstream projects with strong attention to detail and clear communication across stakeholders. Manage budgets related to direct mail and cross-channel acquisition, ensuring efficient allocation and high ROI.
About you
- 7+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing.
- 3+ years managing prescreen direct mail programs at scale (3M+ mail pieces/month), ideally within consumer lending or financial services, required.
- Hands-on ability to write SQL queries and conduct independent performance analysis to make data-driven recommendations is desired.
- Experience authoring creative briefs and managing creative development, testing, and production workflows.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across technical and creative teams.
- Skilled at orchestrating multi-channel acquisition strategies, including direct mail, digital, email, and retargeting.
- Strong project management and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on the market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):Tier 1 | San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Seattle | $157,000 - $172,000Tier 2 | Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Los Angeles & Santa Barbara | $142,000 - $156,000Tier 3 | All other US metro areas | $125,000 - $138,000This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors, to determine final compensation.
