Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Manager leads the development, implementation, and oversight of our Business Management System (BMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, customer requirements, and business objectives. This role is about driving enterprise-wide quality, reducing risk, and fostering continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Quality Leadership & Compliance: Develop and maintain a risk-based Business Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015, oversee internal audits, champion risk-based thinking.
Process Improvement: Establish quality standards, analyze quality data for CAPA, support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
Enterprise-Wide Integration: Extend quality standards to all functions, track key quality KPIs, collaborate with leadership.
Culture & Training: Build a culture of quality ownership, provide training and mentorship, and advocate quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field with 5+ years quality assurance experience in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma and CAPA processes.
Skills & Abilities: Analytical, problem-solving, leadership, excellent communication, and proficiency with quality management software.
Supervisory & Work Environment:
Lead QA team members, partner with production and engineering. This position is office-based with frequent production floor visits and requires PPE due to exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, heat, and equipment.
Schedule & Location:
Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is 100% onsite between our Belle Chasse, LA and Bay St. Louis, MS facilities.
