Business Analyst at Business Analyst

Point C is a National third-party administrator (TPA) with a local market presence dedicated to delivering customized self-funded benefit programs. With a mission to provide innovative solutions beyond the standard "Point A to Point B," the company drives down plan costs using strategies like network and payment integrity, pharmacy benefits, and care management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements for projects and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development.
  • Recommend solutions to address business needs and identify inefficiencies.
  • Partner with project managers, developers, QA, and other teams through the SDLC.
  • Create process flows, data models, use cases, and user stories.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
  • Support UAT by developing test cases, validating results, and assisting with training.
  • Monitor project outcomes and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with managers and end users.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and T-SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge in healthcare data, EDI, payer/provider systems, PBMs, and claims adjudication is preferred.
  • BA certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Individual compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Salary range is $95,000—$115,000 USD. Additional compensation may include bonuses, merit increases, or sales commissions as applicable.
