Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Financial Compliance Consultant to join our National Funding team in Spain. This role combines a strong focus on project monitoring and financial control (65% post-award) with gradual involvement in proposal preparation (35% pre-award). It is an ideal opportunity for junior profiles interested in financial compliance, cost analysis, and structured project management, within a multi-client consulting environment.

Your Mission

Ensure the proper monitoring, control, and compliance of funded projects—especially from a financial perspective—while contributing to the preparation of new funding proposals.

Your Tasks

• Monitor project budgets and perform financial tracking and cost control
• Analyze budget deviations and ensure cost eligibility compliance
• Prepare and review financial reports and cost justifications for funding bodies
• Support the technical and administrative follow-up of ongoing projects
• Coordinate with clients to collect financial and project-related documentation
• Ensure compliance with financial rules and requirements of each funding program
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals (budgeting, cost structures, support in technical sections)
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a consulting environment

Your Profile

• 1–3 years of experience in project management, financial control, or grant-related roles
• Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial/Management Engineering), Business Administration with a technical focus, or similar
• Strong interest in financial compliance, budgeting, and project monitoring
• Advanced Excel skills (cost tracking, data analysis)
• Experience or knowledge in cost analysis and budgeting
• Fluent in English (C1 minimum)
• Catalan is a strong plus
• Detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven mindset
