The Opportunity: Senior Front-End Game Developer

We are actively seeking a passionate Senior Front-End Game Developer to contribute high performance, fresh vision, and scalability to our company. This role is ideal for a committed developer eager to work with game engine development and new feature implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Join and collaborate with a team of professional game developers.
  • Practice openness and agility throughout the game development lifecycle.
  • Participate in the Playson Engineering Community, exchanging ideas and expertise.
  • Propose and implement improvements for the game engine.
  • Design and write functional unit tests for updated code.
  • Develop tools and scripts to optimize workflow.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Senior Front-End Game Developer at Playson, you will need:

  • 4+ years of JavaScript UI Client programming experience in a business environment, with a strong focus on FPS and CPU performance.
  • Expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+, alongside an excellent understanding of the rendering cycle in Canvas/WebGL.
  • Deep understanding of Event Loop and the benefits of synchronous or asynchronous approaches.
  • Experience in cross-browser development.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), game programming patterns, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to proactively propose different solution algorithms.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset.
  • A product-first mindset.
  • GTD (Getting Things Done) attitude, self-sufficiency, and openness to continuous learning.
