Overview
The Lead DevSecOps Engineer role at Playson is a rare opportunity to establish and lead a Platform & Cloud Security function. You will set security standards and embed security into a modern, high-load, cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish the DevSecOps function and define security best practices.
- Integrate security in CI/CD pipelines with tools for SAST, DAST, and scanning.
- Harden infrastructure environments including Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Design and enforce AWS cloud security controls and IaC policies.
- Implement secrets management, centralized monitoring, and vulnerability management.
- Automate security workflows using Python and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with engineers to embed security across design and delivery phases.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Security Engineering or DevSecOps with secure infrastructure experience.
- Expertise in Python, Bash, AWS security (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub) and zero trust design.
- Practical experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and RBAC.
- Solid knowledge of Terraform/Terragrunt, Vault/AWS Secrets Manager, and compliance automation.
- Understanding of secure network design, SBOM generation, and artifact signing.
