Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90K – $100K (depends on experience)

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise a two or three-person wireline crew at the well site or shop.
  • Design projects and maintain mobile equipment including wireline and crane trucks.
  • Maintain downhole electronic wireline instruments for data gathering and analysis.
  • Perform basic interpretation of well logs, including formation evaluation and cement bond tests.
  • Operate explosives safely in compliance with API RP-67.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Adhere to customer and company policies while on site.
  • Ensure quality control of log data and service quality.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Demand and enforce safe operations for all jobsite personnel.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Engineering or a related field; relevant job training valuable.
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT endorsement preferred.
  • Current Blaster License (NYS Dept. of Labor, License & Certification) required.
  • No felony convictions; clean driving record and pass background checks.
  • Understanding of downhole instruments, basic equipment maintenance, and simple math.
  • Basic computer skills in Windows based operating systems.
