Project Manager

Overview

Plantible Foods is unlocking the power of Rubi Protein—a sustainable, functional, and highly nutritious ingredient derived from Lemna. Our mission is to revolutionize the food system by creating better proteins for people and the planet. We are scaling our first commercial facility in Texas and expanding our product and customer pipeline globally. As a Project Manager, you will help lead cross-functional initiatives ranging from new product development and customer execution projects to scaling operational capabilities and implementing project management best practices across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1–3 strategic projects spanning product development, customer trials, and operations.
• Implement scalable project management frameworks and stage-gate processes.
• Coordinate resources across R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, FSQ, and Supply Chain.
• Interface with vendors and customers to manage project timelines and communications.
• Manage budget, risk, and provide executive-ready status updates.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years managing cross-functional technical projects.
• Experience in food tech, biotech, or manufacturing-driven startups.
• Proven skills in critical-path scheduling, stage-gate processes, and multi-team coordination.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with proficiency in Google Workspace and PM tools.
• Familiarity with FSMA/GMP basics and regulated environments.
