About the Role

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking an experienced Unisys 2200 Mainframe DBA Manager to administer, maintain, and optimize Unisys 2200 series database systems. This role requires deep expertise in DMS 2200 and RDMS 2200 environments, data integrity, performance tuning, and security in mission-critical legacy systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain DMS 2200 and RDMS 2200 databases.
  • Manage DMS and RDMS schemas in multiple production and development environments.
  • Oversee database backups and support recovery operations.
  • Develop software using ACOB, UCOB, Assembler, and SSG.
  • Plan triannual migrations including uploads and reloads for system changes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the computer industry and managerial roles.
  • Expert knowledge in Unisys 2200 mainframes, DMS 2200 and RDMS 2200.
  • Strong background in DDL, SDDL, IRU, SSG, ACOB, UCOB, TIP, and ECL.
  • Proven experience in data modeling and logical/physical database design.
  • Expertise in sizing, mapping, and expanding Unisys database areas.
