Role Overview: Jr Web Developer Entry Level
The Jr Web Developer Entry Level will be responsible for website design, development, testing, and support of the hardware/software infrastructure for a web-based portal serving a government client.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform front-end, back-end, and database development tasks.
- Manage resources to ensure timely project deliveries.
- Collaborate with clients and review panels to recommend technical and business solutions.
- Communicate clearly with team members and client product managers.
- Develop, maintain, and support web-enabled capabilities and custom applications.
- Define and track project requirements, plans, and schedules.
- Ensure delivery of quality products.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field. Strong understanding of user interface design principles and proven website development experience are required. The role demands multi-tasking across projects, effective communication with end users, and the ability to analyze and implement timely software solutions. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance are mandatory.
Desired Qualifications
Possession of a DHS Public Trust Clearance, certifications in Lean Software Development, Kanban, Scrum, and Agile processes, and Department of Homeland Security experience are desired.
