Project Engineer Role

This is a Project Engineer role for Software development at PlanIT Group, LLC, where you will be a key member of the AI/ML Applications Team managing and owning key features of our applications.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own and manage the lifecycle development of software features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into a clear product vision.
  • Communicate plans, milestones, and progress of feature development.
  • Serve as both functional and technical translator.
  • Map business processes related to your features and analyze opportunities.
  • Define feature requirements based on business needs and technical constraints.
  • Utilize agile practices to track and monitor development progress.
  • Communicate with customers during development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Support creation of technical, functional, and user communication documentation.
  • Serve as liaison between Product Owner, Tech-lead, and customers.
  • Develop and maintain briefings, presentations, and metrics.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role assisting product owners.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and processes.
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA or similar software.
  • Strong project management and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience in milestone creation and feature definition.
  • Familiarity with software development processes.
