About the Role
As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Planful, you will manage the order-to-cash accounting function, apply ASC 606 for revenue recognition, and maintain scalable revenue processes. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate close deliverables such as reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
Requirements
- 4+ years accounting experience, including revenue accounting in SaaS/subscription models.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 for complex contracts.
- Experience with close deliverables: reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis.
- High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with data analysis experience.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder explanations.
- CPA preferred and experience with CRM/CPQ, billing platforms, ERPs is a plus.
- Experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with revenue policies.
Responsibilities
- Validate sales orders and invoices for proper revenue recognition.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close tasks including reconciliations.
- Collaborate across Sales, FP&A, and Treasury for system improvements.
- Support external audits and adhere to internal compliance protocols.
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses and system implementations.

Pay Transparency
The base salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for bonus or commission. Compensation is determined based on experience and location.
