About The Role

The Customer Success Associate (CSA) role supports customer engagement and retention efforts. Working closely with Customer Success Managers, you will proactively engage customers, build relationships, and drive adoption across the customer base. This entry-level role offers a clear path for growth into a Customer Success Manager position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (Customer Success, Sales, SDR/ADR, Account Management, Customer Support, or similar)
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce; Service Cloud is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Proven track record of meeting activity or performance-based goals
  • Basic knowledge of finance, accounting, financial planning or reporting processes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Engage a portfolio of Planful customers to drive adoption and awareness
  • Conduct outreach campaigns through calls, emails, and meetings
  • Re-engage dormant or low-touch accounts and build initial relationships
  • Document customer interactions and insights in Salesforce and other tools
  • Identify risks, opportunities, or signals for expansion
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, and other teams
  • Maintain visibility into account activity and engagement metrics
  • Represent the Customer Success team with professionalism
  • Continuously build product knowledge and contribute to outreach improvements

Pay Transparency Statement

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 – $65,000 USD per year, dependent on experience and location. Bonus or commission eligibility is also available. Learn more about our benefits here.
