About the Role
The Solutions Architect Deployment Strategist on Planet’s Professional Services team supports Defense and Intelligence (D&I) customers. You will implement, integrate, and analyze new software and data products that extend the Planet Platform. Your responsibilities include training users, translating requirements, designing workflows, and communicating requirement feedback to engineering. This role is critical in enabling customers to access Planet's datasets and streamlining internal customer onboarding processes.

- Design workflows, configure integrations, and define data models.
- Train users and iterate in real-time on Planet products.
- Communicate technical capabilities using mission-focused language.
What You Bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software, Systems Engineering, or similar. 4+ years of experience supporting D&I customers with systems integration experience. Proficiency in Golang, Python, PostgreSQL, and React or related technologies along with hands-on cloud deployment experience using GCP, AWS, or Azure. Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are key.
