About the Role

The Applied AI Engineer will join the Corporate Engineering team to build the future of Planet's digital employee experience. This role focuses on leveraging AI to improve internal productivity through designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the AI for internal productivity roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
  • Design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions.
  • Integrate AI with existing systems like Google Workspace, GCP, and Salesforce.
  • Create dashboards to measure KPIs and solution impact.

What You Bring

10+ years in solution engineering or technical product management, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, and hands-on Gen AI experience (Gemini App, Vertex AI, etc.). Familiarity with LLMs, API design, and dashboard tools is essential.

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with Agentic AI platforms, Python proficiency, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
