Role Overview - Senior Data Engineer

This role supports our mission by developing scalable data pipelines, storage solutions, and advanced data architectures that underpin our carbon accounting and decarbonisation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions.
• Design complex data models and efficient data transformations.
• Implement AI-driven features for data exploration and anomaly detection.
• Own projects including code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
• Deploy AWS services using IaC technology like Terraform.
• Optimize databases with techniques such as partitioning and indexing.
• Work with cloud data warehouses and BI solutions.
• Build and document APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Leverage modern AI technologies including LLMs and vector databases.
