Overview
Plaid is revolutionizing the way people manage finances by empowering developers and companies with the tools to create innovative financial products. As a Mid-Market Account Executive - Europe, you will drive full-cycle sales with high-growth companies across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close new business with high-growth European companies.
- Manage the full sales cycle from sourcing to handoff.
- Guide technical teams through evaluation of Plaid’s APIs and data products.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful deals.
- Evangelize Plaid’s value in fintech and adjacent verticals.
- Contribute to scalable mid-market processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience in quota-carrying roles.
- Proven success in consultative, technical sales (ideally £75k+ ACV).
- Experience selling to technical and leadership stakeholders.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Passion for FinTech and awareness of market trends.
- [Nice to have] Experience in FinTech, Payments, or API-first companies.
- [Nice to have] Familiarity with the UK/EU regulatory landscape.
- [Nice to have] Fluency in a second European language.
