Job Description

Digital Data Analyst at Pizza Hut

We are seeking an experienced data and analytics professional to drive Pizza Hut’s digital analytics and technology platform. This role supports our A/B testing program and merchandising product teams, playing a critical part in analyzing A/B tests to foster data-driven decision-making and optimize products and services. You will own analyses and integration projects from inception to completion, including opportunity identification, problem scoping, analysis execution, and presenting results to stakeholders and leadership. As a key member of the Pizza Hut Digital Analytics group, you will contribute to data and technology-based decision-making across our global digital footprint.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate possesses a broad range of analytics experience, strong technical skills, and an evolving understanding of common technologies. You should be adept at breaking down complex problems into manageable analyses while keeping the business objectives in focus. Core responsibilities include:

  • Performing statistical analysis for test results, including significance and confidence interval calculations.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards to monitor the health of our e-commerce experiences.
  • Collaborating directly with product teams to identify and prioritize improvements for the digital ordering process.
  • Supporting A/B testing processes through in-depth analytics.
  • Creating compelling presentations of analytical conclusions and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Anticipating future trends and business demands to propose impactful analyses.
  • Delivering timely and accurate digital analytics to business stakeholders, engineering, design teams, and leadership.
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining analytics reports for various teams.
  • Creating intuitive visualizations that highlight key information for decision support.
  • Developing and maintaining code to extract data from multiple sources, creating new data models for reporting, dashboarding, and analysis.
  • Understanding organizational processes, data structures, and tools, seeking opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Understanding business strategy and implementing tool and reporting changes to provide scalable, timely insights for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics.
  • Strong experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc., for statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional knowledge of at least one common BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo).
  • 2+ years of experience using Google or Adobe Analytics to provide insights and support product teams.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize).
  • Exceptional advocacy and consensus-building skills to drive adoption of data-driven initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to clearly and concisely convey technical subjects.
  • Experience in analytics with a focus on performance-driven marketing, e-commerce, or agency/consulting organizations.
  • Demonstrated desire to learn new analytics toolkits and techniques through self-study or coursework.
