About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Client Onboarding Consultant to join our growing SaaS organisation. In this role, you will lead the onboarding and implementation process for new customers across global markets, ensuring they successfully adopt our platform and achieve value quickly. You will work closely with customers, sales, product, and support teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills, technical curiosity, and excellent communication with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Implementation
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, from contract handover through to successful go-live.
- Develop onboarding plans, timelines, and milestones tailored to client requirements.
- Configure the SaaS platform based on client needs and business processes.
- Coordinate system integrations, data migration, and initial platform setup where applicable.
Customer Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact during the onboarding phase.
- Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding workshops, and training sessions for client stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with clients across different regions and industries.
- Ensure customers understand product capabilities and best practices.
Project Management
- Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously across global time zones.
- Track onboarding progress and proactively address risks or delays.
- Maintain clear documentation of onboarding activities, requirements, and configurations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales during the handover process to understand client expectations.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues or feature requests.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure a smooth transition post implementation.
Customer Success & Adoption
- Monitor early customer engagement and product usage.
- Identify opportunities to improve client adoption and long-term success.
- Gather client feedback to help improve onboarding processes and product development.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 2–5+ years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, customer success, or consulting within a SaaS environment.
- Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM and customer success platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight).
Desirable
- Experience with SaaS integrations, APIs, or data migration processes.
- Familiarity with implementation frameworks or onboarding methodologies.
- Experience delivering remote training and webinars.
- Knowledge of enterprise or B2B software environments.
