Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies.
- Drive architectural decisions across web, mobile, backend, and AI-enabled solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools, including Claude and other automation technologies, to accelerate software delivery, testing, and development workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements, improve user experiences, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, security initiatives, and engineering best practices across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or another engineering-focused discipline required.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; candidates with 10+ years of experience are highly preferred.
- Strong full-stack development experience with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools daily to enhance productivity, automate workflows, improve testing, and accelerate software development processes.
- Proven ability to participate in live coding exercises, technical problem solving, and system design discussions.
- Experience working within healthcare, health-tech, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience building or integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into software products.
- Background working in startup or high-growth environments with significant ownership and autonomy.
- Strong understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Salary Range: $170,000-$180,000 base
