About the Role

Piper Companies is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join a development team for a biotechnology organization. This role focuses on building user-friendly web interfaces and is 100% remote with occasional travel to HQ locations.

Responsibilities of the Frontend Developer

  • Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-device compatibility.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Qualifications of the Frontend Developer

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development or software engineering.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience working in Azure environments.
  • Strong SQL experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Basic understanding of back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges between $120,000 - $150,000 based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, and Sick Leave as required by law.
