AI Automation Engineer at Piper Companies
Piper Companies is actively seeking an AI Automation Engineer to join a prominent leader within the life sciences industry. This is a remote, 12-month contract opportunity based out of the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing digital transformation initiatives across enterprise and site-level teams, with a core focus on automation engineering, AI-driven workflows, and robust data-centric solutions.
Responsibilities of the AI Automation Engineer
- Develop sophisticated automated processes utilizing RPA platforms, seamlessly integrated with Python and Microsoft-based tools.
- Construct advanced AI-enabled workflows, leveraging cutting-edge LangChain, LLM orchestration methodologies, and efficient document processing pipelines.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive data and analytics structures within the Microsoft Fabric environment.
- Collaborate strategically with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure automation, analytics, and AI initiatives are aligned with overarching organizational digital objectives.
- Provide expert architectural guidance, thorough documentation, and best practices to support the effective implementation and utilization of automation and AI technologies.
Qualifications for the AI Automation Engineer
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI-supported automation or intelligent workflow development.
- Demonstrated background with enterprise-grade RPA tools and practical automation scripting.
- Proficiency in Python, specifically for automation, data manipulation, and AI integration tasks.
- Experience with LangChain or equivalent LLM orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Dataiku and Microsoft Fabric for the development and operationalization of data solutions.
Compensation for the AI Automation Engineer
Salary Range: $190,000-$225,000/year (USD)
