Position Description

Pioneering Evolution is seeking a mid-to-senior level full-stack PHP developer to join our team. In this role, you will build and maintain complex web applications using Laravel and Vue.js, delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that meet our clients’ mission needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complete, working solutions per functional and technical requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
  • Implement solutions using existing code patterns and architecture.
  • Thoroughly test and validate code for reliability and performance.
  • Translate functional requirements to actionable technical tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, QA teams, and analysts.
  • Participate in peer code reviews for consistency and maintainability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and documentation.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of professional web application development.
  • Strong PHP expertise with Laravel or similar MVC frameworks.
  • Proficient in JavaScript with Vue.js or another modern framework.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Skilled in MySQL including schema design and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of Git workflows and code review processes.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Desired Experience

  • Familiarity with AWS or cloud environments.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Dusk, Jest, etc.).
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers for intuitive interfaces.
