Role Overview
As Associate Creative Director, Performance Marketing, you will lead the creative engine that fuels Pinterest's global growth. You will partner with multidisciplinary teams including designers, writers, and producers to concept, test, and scale culturally relevant work across social channels. Your role involves turning insights into cohesive ideas that drive monthly active users and brand affinity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a talented team of design, writing, and motion professionals through all project phases.
- Develop performance and ROI-driven creative for paid social platforms and other digital channels.
- Manage end-to-end creative development, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Utilize data and creative insights to optimize strategy and messaging.
- Research new trends and craft compelling stories using key user insights.
- Represent creative thinking to key stakeholders while ensuring projects stay on brand and on track.
- Cultivate a positive and high performing team culture.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in design, with an emphasis on performance marketing creative.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in art direction, writing craft, video creation, motion design, and UGC creative.
- Proven leadership skills with a player/coach mentality.
- Strong visual communication skills and strategic thinking with a data-driven approach.
- Experience in collaborating with creative partners from concept to execution.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools like Runway, Sora, Google Veo, Adobe Firefly.
In-Office & Relocation Details
This role requires in-person collaboration 1-2 times every six months and can be situated anywhere in the U.S. Note that this position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Compensation & Inclusion
Base salary range: $118,543–$244,059 USD, plus equity eligibility. Pinterest is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity and inclusion.
