Snowflake Data Engineer


We are seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer who combines strong engineering discipline, analytical thinking, and a bias for ownership to our growing data platform team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake-native features including Tasks, Streams, Dynamic Tables, and Stored Procedures
  • Write clean, efficient Python and Snowpark code for pipeline development, automation, and data processing
  • Explore and implement Snowflake Native Apps and other Snowflake-native capabilities to extend platform functionality
  • Analyze and profile large datasets to identify quality issues, lineage gaps, and optimization opportunities
  • Build and maintain robust data models that support downstream BI and analytics consumption in Power BI
  • Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data reliability and freshness
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows to improve productivity and code quality
  • Collaborate with BI developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand and deliver on data requirements
  • Document data flows, transformations, and lineage for maintainability and governance


What We’re Looking For:


  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with deep hands-on Snowflake expertise
  • Strong proficiency in Snowpark (Python), SQL for data transformation and pipeline development
  • Solid experience with Snowflake-native features — Tasks, Streams, Dynamic Tables, Stored Procedures
  • Exposure to or keen interest in Snowflake Native Apps framework, Streamlit
  • Strong Python skills for automation, scripting, and data processing
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cortex, or similar) and agentic coding practices
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and governance
  • Highly accountable, proactive communicator who takes end-to-end ownership
