What To Expect as a Senior Scientific Project Manager

  • Lead the contracting process with third-party lab service providers for critical assay development and validation projects.
  • Efficiently manage the supply of essential reagents and the analysis of samples, working closely with clinical trial teams.
  • Contribute valuable input to clinical trial documents, rigorously ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all data.
  • Systematically track and reconcile all sample testing activities, proactively resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Oversee comprehensive project management responsibilities, including meticulous timeline adherence, budget control, and accurate financial forecasting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or a closely related scientific field.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of direct experience in drug development and/or clinical trial processes for a Senior Scientific Project Manager role (or 2-3 years for Scientific Project Manager level).
  • Demonstrated experience with method development, validation, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in bioanalysis within regulated environments such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice).
  • Strong proficiency across the MS Office Suite, including MS Project for planning, Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis, and PowerPoint for presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically within Oncology research is highly valued.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and formal change management training are strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaboration and reporting.
