What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Lead technical solution development, project execution, and quality assurance for decarbonization initiatives and site-specific assessments
  • Oversee client-facing analytical deliverables to ensure technical excellence in project management
  • Support proactive solution development related to scopes of work for potential clients
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and building performance standards
  • Collaborate with the North American Sustainability Consulting platform to enhance technical delivery processes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in real estate sustainability, decarbonization, or energy efficiency
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred), real estate, or related field
  • Strong understanding of building design, construction, and operations across multiple asset types
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Master's degree in engineering, sustainability management, or real estate
  • Experience with building analysis software such as IES VE, EnergyPlus, or cove.tool
  • Demonstrated experience in technical engineering delivery and client engagement
  • Relevant certifications like CEM, CEA, and/or CxA
