Your Role as a Pre-Construction Project Manager - Energy Storage
As a Pre-Construction Project Manager - Energy Storage, you will play a pivotal role in the energy storage sector, leading the preconstruction group and ensuring project success from the initial stages. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group in managing project scope, budget, and schedule
- Prepare and maintain cost control ledgers and job cost statements
- Collaborate with various departments to create comprehensive contract scopes of work
- Supervise and mentor Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
- Maintain timely reporting on project costs and forecasts to the project team and management
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in construction and project management. Key qualifications include:
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent
- Strong leadership abilities to organize diverse team members in a remote setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of construction experience and 2+ years of scheduling and estimating experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
Candidates who can demonstrate the following will stand out:
- Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
- Strong computer skills with MS Office and industry-standard tools, such as Bluebeam Revu
- Knowledge of contract law and project accounting
- Ability to travel up to 25%
