Case Management Scheduler

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Schedule patient appointments according to employer protocols and guidelines
- Communicate pertinent information regarding employer programs and services to patients
- Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into the electronic health record system
- Maintain proper documentation of all activities and ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Function as a liaison for patients and the health center, directing calls and escalating cases as necessary
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a call center environment or medical/dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and documentation
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- College, vocational/technical training, or certification preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole helpful
- Knowledge of electronic health records software or equivalent preferred
