What To Expect as a Business Analyst I (Job Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to support system and process improvements
• Assist with gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements
• Create use cases, workflows, and functional documentation
• Participate in initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Analyze reports and data to identify defects, trends, and opportunities for optimization

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 1+ years of experience leading or participating in projects preferred
• 1+ years of experience serving as a liaison between the business and IT/Business Solutions preferred
• Proficient in typing 45 words per minute required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, specifically data display, formulas, macros, and pivot tables within Excel

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Two years of college or associate's degree coursework in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence services preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for project management and process improvements preferred
• Completion of training focusing on project management concepts, foundations of information technology, and communication techniques preferred
• Exposure to project management software preferred
