Job Summary
The Event Services Technician - Audio Visual is responsible for assisting with floor operations, from setup to strike, and operating technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. The role emphasizes unmatched customer service and effective communication with clients.
Essential Functions
- Complete event sets and strikes per company SOPs.
- Greet guests and provide clear equipment instructions.
- Maintain ongoing communication to ensure event success.
- Manage client requests and enhance event experiences.
- Maintain accurate event records and review invoices with clients.
- Secure and maintain inventory and equipment.
- Keep occupied areas clean and organized.
- Continuously improve technical skills including audio, video, staging, and networking.
- Adhere to all company policies including safety and security measures.
Education & Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent; prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry; computer proficiency in hardware, software, and networking.

Physical Demands
Capable of sitting, standing, walking long periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
