Job Overview
The Data Scientist Meta-analysis in Dermo-cosmetics Intern will work within the Data Science team in the Applied Research division of Pierre Fabre Dermo-cosmetics. Reporting to a data scientist, you will conduct meta-analysis on clinical data from dermo-cosmetic studies, focusing mainly on OMICS data derived from various clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature research on meta-analysis methods.
- Create harmonized datasets from multiple OMICS studies.
- Evaluate the quality of generated datasets.
- Analyze harmonized data using standard statistical methods.
- Compare analytical methods based on impact on clinical results.
Technical Environment and Tools
Work will be primarily done using R and/or Python, targeting robust statistical analysis and data harmonization across studies.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a data scientist with strong training in applied mathematics and statistics, or a Master II student/last year engineering student specializing in statistics, applied mathematics, or bioinformatics. You must be autonomous, team-oriented, and interested in biomedical research projects.

The internship is based at Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, 3 avenue Hubert Curien, Toulouse.
