Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee language services quality for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) under the Department of Justice (DOJ). The role involves implementing quality standards, conducting performance audits, and ensuring compliance with federal requirements for interpretation and translation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure interpreter services comply with DOJ EOIR standards for accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations with corrective actions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead training programs to ensure adherence to EOIR standards.
  • Document QA activities and provide quality reports to stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary contact for quality-related client inquiries and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Language Services, Criminal Justice, or a related field (master's preferred).
  • At least 5 years of quality assurance or language services management experience.
  • Familiarity with EOIR, DOJ, or other federal quality standards.
  • Language industry experience is required.
  • US citizenship or permanent residency.
