Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will lead and drive process improvement throughout our operational processes. You will provide critical insights and analysis, lead enablement initiatives, and strategically execute growth strategies. Your project management expertise and technological proficiency will optimize and automate processes, ensuring our customer experience—serving small business owners, partner agencies, and vendors—is best-in-class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive transparency and insights with actionable sales reporting and business intelligence.
  • Ensure accuracy of policies, rates, and commission statements through data analysis.
  • Improve data quality by cleansing, monitoring, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to optimize commission operations.
  • Create accurate and timely production of regular and ad-hoc reports for sales management.
  • Organize and analyze revenue-related KPIs and streamline dashboards for sales teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to harmonize processes and deploy scalable systems.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement to sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and identify areas for automation.
  • Conduct ROI analysis on production team tools.

The Right Stuff

Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of operations or analytical experience in a similar role is required.

Knowledge of software, financial services, insurance, insurtech, and startups is preferred. Proficiency with SQL, Excel (including pivot tables), Salesforce, and Looker is essential. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive cash compensation with base range of $135,000—$170,000 USD.
