About the Role

You will be part of a new strategic front at PicPay: Operational Efficiency with Artificial Intelligence. You will need to act independently to identify pain points in internal processes and transform them into intelligent technological solutions.

Your mission will be to map, design, and implement automation and Artificial Intelligence solutions (especially Generative AI) that eliminate operational bottlenecks. The initial focus is to support areas such as Operations, transforming manual and costly processes into fluid and intelligent digital workflows. You will be the link between technology (LLMs, AI APIs) and the real needs of those who make the operation happen day by day.

Responsibilities and Attributions

• Act closely with operations teams to understand manual workflows (such as email management, payments, and invoices) and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build applications and integrations that use Generative AI tools to optimize decision-making and the execution of operational tasks.
• Use the best tools for each problem, transitioning between stacks like Java, PHP, or Python, maintaining the quality and scalability of solutions.
• Act independently in defining the architecture and implementation, ensuring high-value deliveries with little direct supervision.
• Communicate clearly to non-technical areas the value of AI solutions, ensuring the adherence of the tools to daily operations.
• Work in partnership with the Principal Engineers team to ensure that AI solutions are aligned with the company's best engineering practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Deep domain knowledge of architecture, development, and good practices (Clean Code, SOLID).
• Experience with developing projects (professional or personal) that consume AI APIs (such as OpenAI, for example) to solve real problems.
• Knowledge in the use of GenAI solutions (RAG, MCP, A2A, model selection, Bedrock, etc.).
