Job Description
Product Manager Logistics at Picnic Technologies
As a Product Manager at Picnic, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, tackling complex challenges with fresh, groundbreaking solutions. This role is all about driving impact—you’ll analyze data, identify opportunities, develop product strategies that push boundaries and define the way we’re building our supply chain logic.
Tricks of the trade
- Improving the fully automated warehouse: going beyond the business case by designing better strategies and building robust systems (e.g. designing new picking strategies, improving the automated storage system)
- Innovating across borders: building a new fully automated warehouse in Oberhausen (DE-FCA), and working on projects such as the new pallet storage system and the new double zone pick loop
- Pushing towards new standards: renewing the inbound flows, enabling Last Mile 2.0, and improving stock accuracy to ensure Picnic Perfect Quality of Service
- Building sustainable solutions: launching new fruits and vegetables distribution centers with focus on even higher quality, to improve customer satisfaction
- Leading with ambition: Using your relentless determination and grit to take the driver's seat and redefine the puzzle behind a smooth grocery shopping experience
Your superpowers
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or an equivalent quantitative study
- 2-5 years of work experience in a product-led company, ideally experienced with building logistics solutions
- Problem-solving mindset and passion for tackling complex challenges
- Strong communication skills which allow you to convert abstract plans into concrete actions for your team
Please Note: This is not a one-time hire. We’re hiring for this role throughout the year as part of our ongoing growth and expansion. An EU working permit or citizenship is required.
