Investment Data Analyst

Seeking an experienced Investment Data Operations professional to oversee the accuracy, governance, and maintenance of security master and reference data supporting Bank Loans, CLOs, and other structured credit products. This role partners with Trading, Portfolio Management, Operations, Risk, and Technology to ensure high-quality investment data throughout the security lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and govern security master and reference data for Bank Loans, CLOs, and structured credit products.
• Review credit agreements and legal documentation to capture and validate key security attributes.
• Set up new securities and maintain updates for amendments, restructurings, paydowns, and lifecycle events.
• Ensure accurate reference data across trading, portfolio management, risk, accounting, and operations platforms.
• Support data quality initiatives by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Partner with Investment Teams, Operations, Technology, and vendors to improve data integrity and workflows.
• Develop and maintain data governance standards, controls, and documentation.
• Support system implementations and enhancements related to investment and reference data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of investment data, security master, or reference data experience.
• Strong knowledge of Bank Loans, CLOs, syndicated loans, and structured credit products.
• Experience interpreting credit agreements, legal documentation, and loan terms.
• Understanding of loan lifecycle events, borrower structures, and reference data attributes.
• Experience with Wall Street Office (WSO), Bloomberg, and investment data platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy, governance, and operational controls.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
