As a key member of the creative team at Phreesia Network Solutions, you’ll deliver high-quality digital design across various channels. This Marketing Designer role focuses on creating thoughtful, well-crafted work that balances brand integrity with experimentation, from concept through execution. You are expected to bring a strong point of view, work independently, and collaborate effectively with others. What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

  • Design and produce high-impact creative assets for paid media, social, email, web, events, and sales enablement to support marketing initiatives.
  • Partner and collaborate with artists, copywriters, and production teams to create innovative and polished visual executions consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain brand consistency by refining visual identity templates and ensuring cohesive design standards across all channels for scale and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating cross-functionally with peers to meet objectives.
  • Ensure smooth project hand-offs by maintaining organized, scalable design files that support team efficiency.
  • Present and articulate design decisions clearly, incorporating feedback and staying current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI-powered workflows, to improve creative efficiency and ideation.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design, art direction, and all things visual. You possess strong communication skills to explain design rationale to both creative and non-creative partners. A collaborative, feedback-driven mindset is crucial for continuous iteration and improvement. You are also motivated to proactively seek information to support your decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of digital design experience in an agency or in-house setting, with a strong online portfolio showcasing work across digital marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated experience designing for performance marketing, including paid social or demand-generation campaigns, with an understanding of creative’s role in testing and optimization.
  • A broad range of creative and design capabilities, including conceptual thinking and execution skills, with an understanding of motion design and animation.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); familiarity with After Effects, Premiere, WordPress, or Unbounce is a plus.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and plugins (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, Sora) to accelerate ideation, exploration, and production.

Where You’ll Work

This is a remote role, with the expectation that you are based in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST) zones within Canada.

Compensation & Rewards

Phreesia offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 CAD, depending on experience.
