Job Summary

PhonePe is searching for a proactive Linux Administrator with a strong DevOps mindset to build, maintain, and automate its Linux infrastructure. This role focuses on enhancing CI/CD pipelines and system reliability.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Design and manage scalable Linux-based infrastructure using IaC tools.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments with tools like SaltStack.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Utilize Hashicorp Vault for secure operations.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize for scalability using Nagios and Grafana.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and backup via automation and patch management.
  • Collaborate within a DevOps environment and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP) with a focus on automation.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years as a Linux Administrator in a DevOps environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE.
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred) and experience with SaltStack.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
