Role Overview

The Lead - Payroll & Benefits Administration will manage payroll and benefits operations for over 30,000 salesforce employees. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, handling audits, and guiding a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring data accuracy and timely disbursements.
  • External Partner Management: Manage external payroll partners and enforce governance mechanisms.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, handle audits, and maintain documentation.
  • Team Management: Guide and develop the team while ensuring accurate payroll validation, salary advances, exit processing, and benefits administration.
  • Process Improvement: Review and refine payroll processes and standardize operating procedures.

Capabilities & Requirements

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Labour Laws, or related fields.
  • 7-8 years in payroll and benefits management with managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of Indian payroll processes and tax laws (US payroll knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in audit management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and improve processes effectively.
