Job Description

Nutritionist at Phoenix House

Phoenix House is seeking a dedicated Nutritionist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Manager of Food Services, you will provide excellent customer service to clients seeking counseling regarding dietary issues.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on dietary issues and healthy eating habits.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans.
  • Evaluate menus to ensure a positive effect on clients' health.
  • Create educational material about healthy eating habits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in culinary arts from a community college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a nutritionist.

Work Environment

This is a remote position operating in an indoor office environment. You will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to sit, use hands to type, handle objects, reach, and talk or hear. You may also need to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 20 pounds.
