Software Test Engineering Lead

This role executes both automated and manual software testing activities throughout the development cycle within agile or scrum teams. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive software testing activities using both manual and automated methods.
• Implement test strategies at feature and system levels.
• Review requirements, stories, and features for accuracy and testability.
• Collaborate with scrum teams in planning, testing, and demo activities.
• Apply functional, performance, load, and reliability testing methodologies.
• Utilize automation tools, simulation models, and scripting languages.
• Document test plans, protocols, and reports for transparency.
• Assess design changes to maintain product quality.
• Contribute to AI-based product testing and validation.
• Leverage customer insights to shape effective test scenarios.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. 9-12 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years in hands-on test automation, building reusable test frameworks, and using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB Advanced certification and experience in the medical domain.

Work Arrangement

This is an office-based, full-time role requiring in-person presence at least 3 days per week in the company facilities. Field roles may require work at customer or supplier locations.
